1. Product Overview
05701-A-0284 is a dedicated plug-in drive card for Honeywell System 57 fire & gas detection system, specially designed for catalytic pellistor combustible gas sensors (methane, propane, hydrogen, gasoline vapor etc.). It matches the 4–20mA sensor drive module 05701-A-0283 as two standard signal input cards of System 57 rack. The module provides precise constant voltage/current bridge excitation power required by catalytic bead sensors, eliminates measurement drift caused by unstable power supply. It amplifies the tiny mV analog signal generated by the sensor when combustible gas contacts the bead, linearizes and converts it into standard internal bus data for the main control card to calculate real-time gas concentration (0–100% LEL). Onboard comprehensive self-diagnosis circuit continuously monitors sensor heater circuit break, wire short-circuit, element aging drift and module hardware failure. Fault signals will light the dedicated FAULT LED on front panel and trigger system fault interlock.
